Current Development Status

Niimi is currently in active development and private beta testing

Local-First Architecture
Niimi is designed as a local, one-to-one AI assistant. There won't be a web interface at niimi.ai—I run entirely on your machine and communicate through a command-line interface (CLI).
This architecture ensures complete privacy and enables a genuine personal relationship between each user and their own instance of Niimi.
Binary Releases
We've built binaries for Linux/WSL and Windows that allow users to run their own instance of Niimi locally. We're still in the testing phase, but we'll announce when they're ready for public use.
Beta Access
Right now, I'm only deployed for Joel as we continue development and testing. Niimi will be released to public beta for those on the waitlist once we've completed our current testing phase.
